Tradings on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Market ended bearish on Friday 6th September 2019 as the market closes bearish once again.
The NSE All-Share Index declined by 0.39%, Week-to-Date the NSEASI was down by 1.38%.
Investors traded the total number of 3,192 deals for the day worth N6.34 billion. The equity capitalization stood at N13.21 trillion following major sell-off coupled with the market bearish trend.
Guaranty Trust Bank led the top traded stocks chart. The stock ranked in N3.4 billion from 214 deals transacted. Guaranty Trust Bank was the most traded stock by volume and value for the second day running.
Access Bank sold 59.58 million shares units valued at N403.87 million. Zenith Bank rounds up the top three traded stocks for the day. The stock transacted 59.58 million shares units worth N546.25 million.
United African Company of Nigeria (UACN) was the best performing stock for the day. The stock was up by 10% to close at N6.05. Nigerian Police Force Microfinance Bank gained 9.73% to close at N1.24.
ABC Transport completes the top three gainers stocks for the day. The stock appreciated by 9.38% to close at 35 Kobo.
Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals was the worst-performing stock for the day. The stock was down by 10% to close at 45 Kobo. GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals declined by 9.49% to close at N7.15.
Ecobank completes the top three losers for the day. The stock depreciated by 7.14% to close at N7.15.
