The NSE All-Share Index declined by 1.38% to close the week’s tradings at 27,146.57 basis points. Year-to-Date the All-Share Index is down by 13.63%. The NSE Market Capitalization was also down by 1.38% to close at N13.207 trillion.
Cornerstone Insurance Plc was the best performing stock for the week. The stock was up by 28.57% to close at 27 Kobo. International Breweries Plc appreciated by 23.08% to close at N12.
United African Company of Nigeria Plc gained N1.05 to close at N6.05. UACN Property Development Company Plc was up by 12.50% to close at 11 Kobo. Continental Reinsurance Plc rounds up the top five gainers chart. The stock opened at N1.45 and closed at N1.63. The stock was up by 12.41%.
On the flip side, University Press Plc was the worst-performing stock for the week. The stock declined by 18.25 to close at N1.12. Ikeja Hotel Plc shed 26 kobo to close at N1.17.
Tripple Gee and Company Plc depreciated by 16.18% to close at 57 Kobo. Forte Oil Plc completes the top five losers chart. The stock was the worst-performing oil and gas stock for the week. The stock was down by 11.85% to close at N14.50. Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc shed 10% to close at 45 Kobo.
Twenty-seven stocks appreciated at price during the week while Thirty-four equities depreciated in price. The total number of one hundred and five stocks remained unchanged.
